12. Listen to a worship playlist.
Worship isn’t just about listening to catchy music. This connects us to his presence and reminds us of important biblical truths. So, find a good worship playlist (like this one) and offer a sacrifice of praise to the Lord whenever and wherever you can.

13. Called to Community By Various Authors
Christian community is essential to spiritual growth. “It is not good for man to be alone” (Genesis 2:18) remains true today, as biblical community offers accountability, encouragement, diversity, and shared worship for believers. So, why then, in an age of connectivity, are our lives more isolated and fragmented than ever? And what can be done about it? Through this compilation from various authors, Called to Community points the church back to its original calling: to be a gathered, united community that demonstrates the transforming love of God.

A Few Practical Tips to Refresh Your Spiritual Routine
- Change up your routine. Afternoons not cutting it? Try the morning. Too distracted in your living room? Shut yourself in your closet. Sometimes all we need is a change of scenery.
- Switch to a different Bible translation. It’s been said, “The best translation of the Bible is the one you’ll actually read.” And while there may be a few exceptions to that rule, it’s generally true that different translations are suited for different purposes (and people!).
- Start a new podcast or reading plan. Not sure where to start reading the Bible? This is where reading plans come in handy. Try using a plan from one of the podcasts mentioned above, such as Ten Minute Bible Talks’ 2026 Bible Reading Plan through the Gospels.
- Fast from competing loves. Social media, TV, sports, whatever else you may enjoy… These things are a blessing. But they can also become a hindrance to time with God. Pray and ask God to reveal anything in you that’s competing for first place in your heart. Then consider taking a break from it so that you can better connect with him.
- Remember that God is a real person. Set aside time with him as intentionally as you would a meeting with a coworker or friend. You might even place an empty chair in front of you as a reminder that he is truly with you while you pray and read his Word. Remember that prayer is meant to be a living conversation with the God who loves you, knows you, and gave his life for you.
There’s no single formula for growing in your faith, but there is a faithful God who is already at work and is eager to meet you in the rhythms of your everyday life. Let’s keep growing!
