We’re glad you’re here. Trying out something new can be intimidating, especially when it comes to a big church like The Crossing. We want to help you make a big church feel small. Read on for what to expect when you arrive.
Ready to jump right in? Plan your visit on a Sunday morning to meet up with a member of our Connections Team. We’d love to save you a seat!
The Crossing’s mission is to help move the hearts and minds of more people to believe Jesus is more. When we say, “more people,” we’re not talking about the size of a church but about the number of people in our community and beyond hearing about Jesus. Everyone’s life is in process. We’re all moving toward the people God created us to be.
No matter where you’re starting from, The Crossing has a place for you.
At The Crossing, we believe that Jesus is more than anything else a person might set their heart on. He is our greatest hope and the way to the best life we can live.
Are you ready to make Jesus more in your life? We want to help. You’ll find people here like you, working together to believe (and live out) the reality that Jesus is more.

We strive to create a space for everyone to connect with others and grow in their knowledge and love of God. The Crossing has groups, called ministries, for people in every stage of life: single or married, kids, teens, or adults, in times of joy or times of grief, and more.
With options throughout the week with different focuses, The Crossing has a ministry that will meet you where you are. Explore our ministries to find the best fit for you. Or plan your visit to The Crossing on a Sunday morning.
Gather with The Crossing’s community to worship God. You can expect excellent music and a message to help you apply the Bible to your life.
Church is more than Sunday morning. Connecting with others and studying the Bible together is the best way to make a big church feel small.
With podcasts, videos, blog articles, and more, The Crossing provides tools, direction, and encouragement to help you follow Jesus throughout your week.
We want you to feel confident when you walk through The Crossing’s doors. Here are the answers to some commonly-asked questions to help you know what to expect on a Sunday morning.
The Welcome Desk in The Crossing’s main foyer is the best place to go for all the information you need about Sundays and beyond. Friendly volunteers are available before and after all services to show you around the building, answer questions about what’s going on at The Crossing, and help your kids get checked in to Crossing Kids.
We recommend getting here 15-20 minutes before the service starts to ensure you have time to park, grab free coffee and a donut or bagel, and find a seat in the auditorium.
Kids are a huge part of our ministry here at The Crossing. We want kids to want to come to church. Crossing Kids (Infant-5th Grade) offers classes during all three services. Find out more about Crossing Kids.
Crossing Students (6th-12th grade) meets on Sunday mornings during the 9:45 service. There are also lots of other opportunities for middle schoolers and high schoolers throughout the week. Find out more about Crossing Students.
We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to get your kids registered for the first time. When you Plan a Visit, a member of the Connections Team will reach out to help you get this registration done in advance.
When Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4, he proclaimed that true worshipers of the Father are to worship him “in spirit and in truth.” What he did not do is add a specific dress code. Along with many other biblical passages, that episode points to the fact that genuine worship is fundamentally a matter of the heart, not of outward appearances.
Most people who attend The Crossing dress in a fairly casual manner, and we invite you to feel the freedom to do the same.
We have three services on Sunday mornings. They start at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 AM CST.
Attending an event, serving at the church, or signing up for a small group or Bible study are great ways to meet other people and make a big church feel small.
Check out one of these featured events, plan you visit on a Sunday morning, or let us know a little more about you so that we can recommend your best next step.
