The Magic Tree is a must-see during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season. This is the 8th year for the 85-foot Sycamore tree to show off its 8+ miles of LED lights at The Crossing in Columbia, Missouri.
The Crossing invites everyone to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Magic Tree every evening from 5-10 p.m.
In keeping with tradition, the Magic Tree lighting ceremony will be on Friday, November 29.
This year, the lighting will begin in the sky with a Christmas-themed drone show and countdown to the tree lighting. The show starts at 5:30 p.m. Bring your own chairs or blanket and gather with family and friends to enjoy the show—along with free kettle corn, hot chocolate, and Christmas music.
While you can enjoy the tree from 5-10 p.m. every evening, here are a few highlights of additional tree festivities:
The Crossing’s Magic Tree is a place for Columbia’s community to create and celebrate holiday traditions with family and friends.
Whether 2024 will be your first visit or you’ve been coming for years, we hope the Magic Tree offers an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the people you love most in a beautiful, festive setting.
So, take a break from the rush of the holiday season. Invite your family and friends to join you (or make some new friends while you’re here!). And meet us at the Magic Tree this Christmas season.
Sitting under the lights of the Magic Tree is an incredible way to capture the Christmas spirit for a night. That magic doesn't have to end. Learn more about how life with Jesus can make every moment full of the same joy and magic.
