It's not always what you would expect.
Rather than scenes of joy and wonder, often, when people encounter the holy God, they are brought to their knees.
When Isaiah came face-to-face with God, he cried out,
"Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!"
Isaiah 6:5
During this Lenten season, you're invited to discover the stories of individuals in scripture who experience the fullness of God's glory. You will wrestle with the holiness of God, recognize the depth of your own sin, and sit in the wonder of God's mercy.
